We operate a nationwide backbone network and offer both backbone network services and regional and access network services. Based on coverage, scalability, availability and reliability, our high-quality networks are among the best in the industry.
Reliable and monitored
A separate, fully redundant network management network improves the availability and reliability of the network and accelerates fault repair. Network supervision monitors the operation of the networks on a 24/7/365 basis.
Focus on your business
We carry responsibility for the operation of the networks on your behalf, so that you can focus on your own business.
Services according to need
We offer several SLA levels, meeting different quality and availability requirements. We can offer capacities of up to 100 Gbit/s according to need.
More information
The nodes of the national DWDM backbone network are located in 18 central towns and localities, and they cover the whole country. The connections are implemented by redundant, mutually separate fibre optic cables and redundant node equipment. Separate equipment rooms and node equipment guarantee low vulnerability.
The IP network has a corresponding structure, implemented with redundant physical connections and equipment.
Ethernet networks are mostly ring-shaped, which means their reliability is excellent. The Ethernet network is divided into 13 regional networks interconnected by an IP backbone network. Routing is automated, which improves availability and increases the reliability of customer connections. The load and degree of use of the IP networks are monitored in real time.
A factor affecting especially quality, availability and quick maintenance is our own network management network implemented by means of ring-shaped connections and physically separate, redundant equipment. The network is connected to the actual production network at over a hundred locations in Finland. The network management network is thus a separate management network that is independent of other technologies and systems and allows the equipment to be monitored and managed remotely. The separate network management network accelerates troubleshooting and fault repair and allows the overall reliability and availability of the production networks to be raised to an extremely high level.
