Details about Telia Finland Plc’s direct marketing to corporate customers

Customer communications

To serve our customers even better, we may send customer messages (by mail or electronically) concerning the products and services you use or any changes to them.

Direct marketing messages

In addition to these customer messages, we can send direct marketing (by mail, e-mail or text message) to provide you more comprehensive, up-to-date information on products, services, benefits and events from us and our partners. In addition, if you sign up for a webinar or download a guide, for example, we may send you direct marketing messages related to that content and other topics.

Targeting of direct marketing messages

We can send direct marketing messages to the contact persons and decision-makers of corporate customers based on our legitimate interest without separate consent. We can also target marketing messages we send to you by means of your customer data. When you are our customer, use our services or visit our website, we get information on you that enables us to better offer you topical and relevant messages to meet your needs.

Customer surveys and research

We want to develop our operations, listening to our customers. To this end, we survey our customers’ opinions on a variety of topics ranging from service development to the performance of customer service or, for example, the most wanted customer benefits. If, however, you do not wish for us to contact you regarding these surveys, you can forbid it by activating a direct marketing ban with this form.

Newsletters

Telia has a variety of newsletters on different topics that you may subscribe to according to your preference. To subscribe, use the form at telia.fi. When you subscribe to our 5G newsletter, for example, we can offer you current news on this particular topic. By joining our newsletter mailing list, you will receive communication from Telia companies or Telia’s partners with related content and information on services and events. Any newsletter you subscribe to using the form can be cancelled with the link contained in each newsletter.

Targeted and personalised advertising

We can target and personalise advertising interesting to you in social media channels and on our website based, for example, on the personal data we process when providing you with a service pursuant to an agreement or when you use our services or based on our legitimate interest. In addition, information collected with cookies regarding your visits to our website may be used for targeting and personalising advertising (for more details, see here). We can also use cookies to collect information on IP addresses that visit our website’s sections targeting businesses and use this information in direct marketing.

You can prevent advertising based on information collected with cookies by using the so-called do not track feature in your browser.

You can also manage your browser’s cookie settings on these sites:
www.youronlinechoices.com/
www.networkadvertising.org/choices
www.aboutads.info/choices

You can forbid targeted advertising in social media with this form. Targeted advertising can be forbidden in each social media channel by following the channel’s instructions and data protection policy. Examples:

Twitter
Google
Facebook
LinkedIn

Data protection and management of settings

You can find more information on the processing of customer data in the Privacy notice. Data collected on the basis of marketing permission will not be disclosed to parties outside Telia Finland Oyj without the customer’s separate consent except when allowed or required by law. However, we may disclose to third parties such generalised statistical data that do not make it possible to identify any individuals.

You can cancel electronic direct marketing with this form or by notifying us of the cancellation using the opt-out link in the e-mail message or text message. You can also cancel direct marketing by contacting our corporate customer care.

If you decide to leave our direct marketing lists, you may still receive messages and bulletins related to the customer relationship with regard to, for example, service deployment, faults and coming changes.
